| Krakow cribs are distinguished by their full splendor of ornamentation and distinctive architecture, which harmoniously combines elements of Krakow's sights. Towers of St. Mary's Church, the dome of the Sigismund Chapel in the Wawel Cathedral, and the Florian Gate, the Cloth Hall and the Barbican - the most common themes, which refer to the contest becomes a szopkarze. The beauty of the architecture itself highlight the innumerable ornaments, stained-glass windows, and above all, a whole galaxy of characters zaludniających storeys and another recess. In addition to the Holy Family, or Our Lady, St. Joseph and the Infant lying in a manger, we find the szopkach Krakowiaków in folk costumes, angels, musicians and heroes Krakow legends such as Mr. Twardowski, wawel dragon-luggage or hejnalista from St. Mary's Church tower. |
